Sumo's is my favorite Japanese place in town! Their rice is EXCELLENT, and prices are very fair! My favorites to get are the chicken bowl, and if you don't like raw fish, I would recommend their Volcano roll (my absolute favorite!) and the birthday roll! When they opened up the restaurant after covid, the atmosphere is really nice and comforting! Workers are all very nice, and service is quick whether it is a to-go order or a dine-in.
Nice little lunch place. It was packed- a sure sign the locals love it! Had a chicken quick bowl, hibachi shrimp and a veggie bowl. Tremendous quantity of delicious food! Prompt service, clean environment. Recommend.
I always love coming here. They are fast and friendly with fairly low prices. The food is amazing for the price in both portion sizes and taste. If I order a large chicken bowl, that is enough to enjoy the leftovers another day. The ambience isn't the greatest with some of the booths and decor being a bit worn, but I have never thought about it affecting my experience here. The kitchen is clean and the sushi looks amazingly fresh and is made to order. Love it here!
